Hospitality Case Studies
Every hospitality business has potential.
Sometimes it’s obvious. More often, it’s hidden beneath years of gradual change, operational compromises or simply becoming too familiar with the space to see new possibilities.
My role is to look at a property with fresh eyes. To understand how it works for the people who own it, the people who work there and, most importantly, the people who experience it.
I don’t begin with colours, fabrics or furniture.
I begin by asking questions.
How does the business operate? Where are the missed opportunities? What experience do you want your customers to have? What small changes could make the biggest difference?
Only then do we start talking about design.
Over more than thirty years I’ve worked with restaurants, bars, breweries, visitor attractions, accommodation providers, schools and community organisations. Every project has been different, but they’ve all started in exactly the same way—with a conversation and a fresh perspective.
The projects below show that approach in practice. Each one began with a different challenge, but all were driven by the same objective: helping people and places realise their full potential.
